Description:
AM STEM Session- In Snapology’s Animation Studio program, students get to do more than just enjoy those movies, they get to create them! In this technical program, children will work in teams to learn the fundamentals of stop motion animation and develop their own animated movie starring some of their favorite LEGO® mini-figures! Students will go through the entire movie making process with their filming partner, from plot development and set design to detailed visual and audio editing. The best part, their movie will move beyond the classroom and be uploaded to Snapology’s YouTube channel so they can share their film with friends and family for years to come!
PM JEDI movements: Embark on a thrilling journey at our Jedi Master Martial Arts Camp! Experience one official lesson each day, then dive into a galaxy of outdoor games and activities designed to enhance your skills while ensuring maximum fun. If so, this program is the perfect space for your young architect to sharpen their design and building skills! All buildings, from the Empire State Building to the house next door, started as an idea in an architect’s head. Students will learn how to take an idea from their head and turn it into a building in the real world. They will be guided through the building process, from creating a floor plan to disaster-proofing the structure, so that they will be able to create the next best thing in architecture using LEGO® bricks!.
PM Kungfu Panda: Join us this week as we embark on the path to become the next Dragon Warrior! While we may not be pandas, we are a black belt school dedicated to unleashing your inner warrior. Throughout this week, we’ll focus on having fun while discovering our full potential to be the best we can be. Get ready for team-based games and activities that will challenge and inspire you. And what better way to immerse ourselves in the spirit of the Dragon Warrior than by enjoying a showing of the Kung Fu Panda series?

Students will build models of their favorite forms of transportation as they learn about energy, wheels and axles, air resistance, and more. They will also learn about the history and modern use of these vehicles, and apply this knowledge to their builds.
PM Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Join us this week to channel your inner Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and dive into the art of creativity and stealth! While we may not have shells, we do have a passion for martial arts and ingenuity. Throughout the week, we’ll focus on honing our skills in arts and crafts as we create our very own ninja stars. From designing and crafting to mastering the technique of throwing, get ready to unleash your inner ninja artist. But it’s not all about crafting! Prepare for exciting team-based games and challenges that will test your agility, strategy, and teamwork.

AM STEM Session- We bet your child loves going to amusement parks to experience the variety of fast, dropping, and spinning rides, but have they ever thought about the science that goes into building those rides and the people who are responsible for designing them? In Snapology’s Amusement Park Engineering class, students will become engineers of their own amusement park rides and will learn the core physics and engineering concepts used to make a ride thrilling!
PM Taekwondo: This week, campers will explore the dynamic art of Taekwondo, focusing on precision kicking, balance, and powerful techniques. They’ll learn proper kicking form, when and where to strike, and how to use their flexibility and speed effectively. Through exciting drills and creative challenges, campers will practice maintaining control, keeping a strong guard, and staying focused under pressure. By the end of the week, they’ll have developed confidence, discipline, and the skills to kick with accuracy and purpose!

While working with a partner to solve various challenges, your student will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with creative building challenges. It’s going to be a RAWR-ing good time!.
PM Krav Maga: This week, campers will dive into the practical world of Krav Maga, focusing on real-life self-defense skills and strategies. They’ll learn how to use kicks, punches, and quick thinking to respond effectively in various situations. Through drills and scenario-based training, campers will practice maintaining distance, staying alert, and defending against unexpected threats. School Age Programs
Engineering
Gain a deep understanding of simple machines like gears, axles, pulleys, etc. by building fun models like windmills, catapults, amusement park rides and much more. Here students develop scientific thinking and a love of building machines with their hands.
Science Exploration
enjoy the world of science from a unique perspective and develop and appreciation of our complex world through programs that explore the science of sports, of seasons, the science in the performance of their favorite superheroes, different areas of scientific study, architecture and how buildings are constructed and much more.
Robotics
introduce kids to robotics and coding through engaging programs were kids build everything form perhistoric robots, to gaming robots, to robots from outer space! This program ensures students build understanding of both the building and coding aspects critical in robotics.
US/World Cultures
students get to explore the world around them through a cultural lens be it an exploration of the 50 United States, journeying the world to Italy or Iceland, discovering ninja culture or developing an appreciation for artists like Degas and Monet.
What is STEM/STEAM Education?
STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Some organizations expand this acronym to STEAM to add Art education.
All Snapology programs focus on STEM & STEAM learning concepts. In fact, Snapology programs qualify for use of STEM & STEAM grants provided to many schools, libraries, and non-profit organizations.
