About Us

We are near you! Snapology of Eastside has been in operation for 6 years and offers programs in Bellevue, Bothell, Issaquah, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Redmond, Renton, Sammamish, Woodinville, and surrounding areas.

Dedicated teachers: Our team is based out of the region and is made up of experienced educators who are passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. They’ve dedicated their careers to helping children learn and grow into the next generation of STEAM professionals. Each child gets the guidance and confidence-boosting support they need with Snapology of Eastside.

We come to you: We are a mobile business and work closely with our many local partners to bring our fun STEM and STEAM programs to children near where they live. We love partnering with private schools, public schools, community organizations, scouting groups, and individuals to help children reach their STEM potential.

We are about holistic learning: Every Snapology program is designed for kids to learn critical life skills like teamwork (kids work in pairs), communication (they brainstorm ideas and present what they build), and troubleshooting (they build perseverance by learning how to deconstruct a problem and fix the issue).

Classes

With dozens of programs to choose from, there’s something for everyone. From fun, themed programs using LEGO® bricks and K’Nex® to STEM / STEAM programs, Robotics, and Moviemaking, your children will be engaged from the minute they walk in the door. Shh, don’t tell them it’s educational.

Camps

When kids are out of school, you want them to have fun, but you also want them to continue to learn and grow. Our camps are the perfect combination of fun and learning for your kids. You can be confident that they’re enjoying their break from school while continuing to develop their STEM / STEAM skills.

Homeschools, Scout troops and more

Our flexible programs allow us to tailor programs to your needs. Whether you are a homeschooling group or a scouts’ troop or another organization looking to engage your kids in STEAM activities that are fun and engaging, we are only a call away!

From schools to teams and scouting groups, our custom events and field trips can bring the learning right to your door. No need for the hassle of a bus or chaperones, Snapology can bring the field trip to you! Our expert team will create the perfect event for your group.

Want an unforgettable birthday and a little bit of learning too? A Snapology birthday party is all of the above plus a stress-free event for you. The kids will have a blast but they will also be focused on a STEAM activity. Plus! You can enjoy all the smiles while we do all the work.

My kids (7 and 10) had a great time there during spring break. They had fun designing and building a structure that would fit into 'mini Seattle'. My daughter built a spinning amusement park ride with her new friend, and my son built a statue of a soccer player wearing the same red shoes as him. Staff were friendly and kids had a blast!

Pre-school Programs:

Snapology’s preschool programs offer a hands-on, engaging curriculum that complements preschool learning and helps children build a solid foundation in STEM. From exploring dinosaurs and animals to building models like merry-go-rounds and cranes, our programs spark curiosity, introduce basic science, and nurture essential life skills through fun, creative play.

School Age Programs

Engineering

Gain a deep understanding of simple machines like gears, axles, pulleys, etc. by building fun models like windmills, catapults, amusement park rides and much more. Here students develop scientific thinking and a love of building machines with their hands.

Science Exploration

enjoy the world of science from a unique perspective and develop and appreciation of our complex world through programs that explore the science of sports, of seasons, the science in the performance of their favorite superheroes, different areas of scientific study, architecture and how buildings are constructed and much more.

Robotics

introduce kids to robotics and coding through engaging programs were kids build everything form perhistoric robots, to gaming robots, to robots from outer space! This program ensures students build understanding of both the building and coding aspects critical in robotics.

US/World Cultures

students get to explore the world around them through a cultural lens be it an exploration of the 50 United States, journeying the world to Italy or Iceland, discovering ninja culture or developing an appreciation for artists like Degas and Monet.

What is STEM/STEAM Education?

STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Some organizations expand this acronym to STEAM to add Art education.

All Snapology programs focus on STEM & STEAM learning concepts. In fact, Snapology programs qualify for use of STEM & STEAM grants provided to many schools, libraries, and non-profit organizations.
