AM STEM Session- Does your builder enjoy designing beautiful buildings or functional spaces? If so, this program is the perfect space for your young architect to sharpen their design and building skills! All buildings, from the Empire State Building to the house next door, started as an idea in an architect’s head. Students will learn how to take an idea from their head and turn it into a building in the real world. They will be guided through the building process, from creating a floor plan to disaster-proofing the structure, so that they will be able to create the next best thing in architecture using LEGO® bricks!.
PM JEDI movements: Embark on a thrilling journey at our Jedi Master Martial Arts Camp! Experience one official lesson each day, then dive into a galaxy of outdoor games and activities designed to enhance your skills while ensuring maximum fun. Learn discipline, control, and unwavering attitude through martial arts inspired by the legendary Jedi Knights. While working with a partner to solve various challenges, your student will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with creative building challenges. It’s going to be a RAWR-ing good time!
PM Kungfu Panda: Join us this week as we embark on the path to become the next Dragon Warrior! While we may not be pandas, we are a black belt school dedicated to unleashing your inner warrior. Throughout this week, we’ll focus on having fun while discovering our full potential to be the best we can be. Get ready for team-based games and activities that will challenge and inspire you. And what better way to immerse ourselves in the spirit of the Dragon Warrior than by enjoying a showing of the Kung Fu Panda series?

Students will build models of their favorite forms of transportation as they learn about energy, wheels and axles, air resistance, and more. They will also learn about the history and modern use of these vehicles, and apply this knowledge to their builds.
PM Boxing: This week, campers will focus on the art of boxing, mastering proper punching techniques and learning how to combine speed and power effectively. Through exciting drills and partner exercises, they’ll practice maintaining distance, reading their opponent, and using a strong guard to stay protected. Campers will develop confidence, refine their striking abilities, and learn to punch with precision and purpose!

Description: Foundational engineering (older kids): Does your little learner love to tinker and create new things, or are they the kind of learner who likes to break things apart to see what’s inside? If so, they’re going to love Snapology’s Foundational Engineering: Machines and Contraptions program! This program gives your student the tools they need to understand mechanical movement and the importance of simple machines. They will see these moving parts up-close as they follow instructions to build various machines and contraptions, then use the models to develop new design ideas, test out physics concepts, and even play games with their partners and classmates. Whether they are the creative-constructive type or prefer the inquisitive-deconstructive way of learning, this program is sure to spark their engineering interests!
Superheroes (younger age group): To the Batcave, superhero fans! Design your own superhero, create your own adventure, and build epic battle scenes using LEGO® bricks. Have a blast as you create your own fantasy world of superheroes and supervillains, straight out of the pages of DC and Marvel comic books. You might even unleash some of your own superpowers!

In this technical program, children will work in teams to learn the fundamentals of stop motion animation and develop their own animated movie starring some of their favorite LEGO® mini-figures! Students will go through the entire movie making process with their filming partner, from plot development and set design to detailed visual and audio editing. The best part, their movie will move beyond the classroom and be uploaded to Snapology’s YouTube channel so they can share their film with friends and family for years to come!
PM Taekwondo: This week, campers will explore the dynamic art of Taekwondo, focusing on precision kicking, balance, and powerful techniques. They’ll learn proper kicking form, when and where to strike, and how to use their flexibility and speed effectively. Through exciting drills and creative challenges, campers will practice maintaining control, keeping a strong guard, and staying focused under pressure. By the end of the week, they’ll have developed confidence, discipline, and the skills to kick with accuracy and purpose!

All while creating their favorite rides like the Pirate ship ride, roller-coasters, and more!
PM Krav Maga: This week, campers will dive into the practical world of Krav Maga, focusing on real-life self-defense skills and strategies. They’ll learn how to use kicks, punches, and quick thinking to respond effectively in various situations. Through drills and scenario-based training, campers will practice maintaining distance, staying alert, and defending against unexpected threats. Emphasizing a strong guard and smart decision-making, this week will boost their confidence, awareness, and readiness to protect themselves with purpose!

Ninja Adventures (younger age group): The goal of Snapology’s Ninjas program is to teach students about the history, culture, skills, and tactics of ninja warriors. Students will learn about shinobi through a variety of building activities, games, and projects! From translating their name to Japanese to learning about the importance of strength, concentration, and agility through physical challenges, students are bound to have a blast.

School Age Programs

Engineering
Gain a deep understanding of simple machines like gears, axles, pulleys, etc. by building fun models like windmills, catapults, amusement park rides and much more. Here students develop scientific thinking and a love of building machines with their hands.

Science Exploration
enjoy the world of science from a unique perspective and develop and appreciation of our complex world through programs that explore the science of sports, of seasons, the science in the performance of their favorite superheroes, different areas of scientific study, architecture and how buildings are constructed and much more.

Robotics
introduce kids to robotics and coding through engaging programs were kids build everything form perhistoric robots, to gaming robots, to robots from outer space! This program ensures students build understanding of both the building and coding aspects critical in robotics.

US/World Cultures
students get to explore the world around them through a cultural lens be it an exploration of the 50 United States, journeying the world to Italy or Iceland, discovering ninja culture or developing an appreciation for artists like Degas and Monet.

What is STEM/STEAM Education?
STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Some organizations expand this acronym to STEAM to add Art education.
All Snapology programs focus on STEM & STEAM learning concepts. In fact, Snapology programs qualify for use of STEM & STEAM grants provided to many schools, libraries, and non-profit organizations.
