Ages 7 – 12

Description: Design and build battle-ready bots! Participants will learn to design and build robots for friendly competitions like robot football and obstacle challenges. As they tinker, test, and compete, they’ll gain real engineering skills and confidence while having fun. Participants will learn:

  • Structural Engineering: How to build strong, stable robots using statics and design principles.
  • Gears & Motors: How gear ratios affect speed and power, and how to optimize for different challenges.
  • Problem-Solving: Applying the Engineering Design Process to overcome obstacles and improve performance.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Planning, building, and refining robots with peers in a respectful, productive way.
  • Intro to Coding: Basic programming concepts to bring their robots to life with movement and logic.

Ages 7 – 12

Description: Get ready for a wild ride! Become an amusement park engineer and carnival creator designing, building, and coding thrilling rides and games! Using LEGO® bricks and robotics tools, participants will explore physics, engineering, and programming while unleashing their creativity. Participants will learn:

  • Engineering & Design: Build roller coasters, spinning rides, and carnival games while learning how physics makes them exciting.
  • Robotics & Coding: Use kid-friendly programming to bring creations to life with movement, sensors, and sound.
  • Math & Problem Solving: Tackle fun challenges that build logic, spatial reasoning, and critical thinking.
  • Creativity & Collaboration: Work with peers to brainstorm, build, and share imaginative designs in a supportive, playful environment.

Ages 6-12

Description: Children will begin to explore the world of robotics as they build simple models that teach the fundamentals of robotic design. Whether learning about sensors while building drills and magic wands, or discovering ways that gears and pulleys create movement while building helicopters and robotic dogs, your child is sure to have a great time!

Ages 7-12

Description: In the Engineering exploration hands-on program, kids explore the science of machines and the thrill of amusement park rides. Using LEGO® bricks, gears, motors, and pulleys, they’ll design contraptions, test physics concepts, and solve engineering challenges—all while collaborating with peers and unleashing their creativity.

Later in the afternoon, campers dive into hands- on science using LEGO® bricks and interactive tools to explore everything from atoms to astronomy. It’s the perfect way to spark a lifelong love of learning—through play, creativity, and teamwork.

Ages 6 – 12

Description: In this two-day camp, kids begin the day by exploring mechanical engineering concepts as they build working models like windmills, and conveyor belts, transitioning to take on the exciting challenge of designing and programming robotic creations like drills and race cars. Every build sparks curiosity and strengthens the building, engineering, and problem-solving foundation that robotics is built on. In the afternoon, students explore aspects of astronomy, biology, chemistry, and earth science—using LEGO® bricks and hands-on tools to bring big ideas to life. Your child is sure to have fun as they build, learn, and play.

Issaquah

Ages 7 – 12

Description: In the morning, campers dive into robotics through fast-paced games and partner challenges. They’ll learn how sensors, motors, and code bring their creations to life—building skills in programming, engineering, and teamwork while having a blast. In the afternoon, they shift gears to explore famous artworks and architectural wonders. Inspired by masters like Da Vinci and Van Gogh, kids will create their own imaginative pieces while learning about art history, design principles, and creative expression.

Description: In the morning Combat Robots program, kids design and build battle-ready bots for friendly competitions like robot football and obstacle challenges. As they tinker, test, and compete, they’ll gain real engineering skills and confidence – all while having a blast. In the afternoon, they dive into Pokémania, where imagination meets science. Campers create custom Pokémon, training gyms, and habitats while learning about biology, ecosystems, and storytelling. It’s a playful mix of creativity, strategy, and real-world science.

Ages 7-12

Description: Amusement Park Adventures: We bet your child loves going to amusement parks to experience the variety of fast, dropping, and spinning rides, but have they ever thought about the science that goes into building those rides and the people who are responsible for designing them? In the morning Amusement Park Engineering session, students will become engineers of their own amusement park rides and will learn the core physics and engineering concepts used to make a ride thrilling!

STEAM Survivor: The afternoons will put your students’ design, building, and critical thinking skills to the test! They will be given daily challenges for which they must design functional solutions with their teammate! They will earn Survivor Bucks when they perform well and be able to use those survivor bucks to purchase supplies or prizes throughout the camp. The goal of this program is to encourage our students to carefully work through the engineering design process to see how often they can design with a purpose.

Ages 6-12

Description:

AM STEM Session- Does your builder enjoy designing beautiful buildings or functional spaces? If so, this program is the perfect space for your young architect to sharpen their design and building skills! All buildings, from the Empire State Building to the house next door, started as an idea in an architect’s head. Students will learn how to take an idea from their head and turn it into a building in the real world. They will be guided through the building process, from creating a floor plan to disaster-proofing the structure, so that they will be able to create the next best thing in architecture using LEGO® bricks!.

Description:

AM STEM Session-  In Snapology’s Animation Studio program, students get to do more than just enjoy those movies, they get to create them! In this technical program, children will work in teams to learn the fundamentals of stop motion animation and develop their own animated movie starring some of their favorite LEGO® mini-figures! Students will go through the entire movie making process with their filming partner, from plot development and set design to detailed visual and audio editing. The best part, their movie will move beyond the classroom and be uploaded to Snapology’s YouTube channel so they can share their film with friends and family for years to come!

Pre-school Programs:

Snapology’s preschool programs offer a hands-on, engaging curriculum that complements preschool learning and helps children build a solid foundation in STEM. From exploring dinosaurs and animals to building models like merry-go-rounds and cranes, our programs spark curiosity, introduce basic science, and nurture essential life skills through fun, creative play.

School Age Programs

Engineering

Gain a deep understanding of simple machines like gears, axles, pulleys, etc. by building fun models like windmills, catapults, amusement park rides and much more. Here students develop scientific thinking and a love of building machines with their hands.


Science Exploration

enjoy the world of science from a unique perspective and develop and appreciation of our complex world through programs that explore the science of sports, of seasons, the science in the performance of their favorite superheroes, different areas of scientific study, architecture and how buildings are constructed and much more.

Robotics

introduce kids to robotics and coding through engaging programs were kids build everything form perhistoric robots, to gaming robots, to robots from outer space! This program ensures students build understanding of both the building and coding aspects critical in robotics.

US/World Cultures

students get to explore the world around them through a cultural lens be it an exploration of the 50 United States, journeying the world to Italy or Iceland, discovering ninja culture or developing an appreciation for artists like Degas and Monet.


What is STEM/STEAM Education?

STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Some organizations expand this acronym to STEAM to add Art education.

All Snapology programs focus on STEM & STEAM learning concepts. In fact, Snapology programs qualify for use of STEM & STEAM grants provided to many schools, libraries, and non-profit organizations.
